“Women and Turtles” workshop in Castel Volturno (Italy)

Fondazione Cetacea staff participated in the second “Women and Turtles” workshop organized by Associazione ELSA ETS, joining researchers, biologists, and enthusiasts from across Italy. We highlighted the need for collaboration in protecting threatened turtles. During the event, Dr. Valeria Angelini presented the LIFE MedTurtles project with a focus on the actions taken with the Turtle Excluder Device (TED) to tackle bycatch.
