Two sea turtles have been released in Rimini after being recovered by Fondazione Cetacea in Riccione.

Esmeralda and Esperanza are the names of the two sea turtles who were released in Rimini on the 28th of December 2022. After the vets ensured the turtles were healthy, the turtles were released before the temperature of our sea became too cold. They are now equipped with a satellite tag to track and study their route.
