On the evening of August 17, 68 turtle eggs hatched in the nest at La Playa de La Punta, Valencia. This represents more than a 90% success rate for this nest, which was naturally incubated on the beach. The turtle laid the eggs 56 days earlier, just a few meters from the relocation site, and this turtle was likely born on this beach nearly 20 years ago.
