On Monday, June 17th, the release season officially began at the Due Sorelle beach in Numana (AN), Italy. Kicking off the season was Giorgio, a Caretta caretta found trapped in a trawling net on January 17 and rehabilitated by the Fondazione Cetacea team. Giorgio will be tracked on his journey thanks to a satellite tracking device.
