On the 3rd of April 2023, Life Medturtle was presented at Interreg Resistance online event “The involvement of citizens in the conservation of marine environment”. During this event Fondazione Cetacea presented the citizen science activities and tools implemented thanks to the Life Medturtle project, such as the e-turtle app and the survey for tourists and stakeholders. Citizen science is a method of data collecting that use the involvoment of general public or specific stakeholders: it allows the scientific community to access much more data and, at the same time, help to bring the general public closer to science.
